What it is

All-on-X is a fixed full-arch bridge supported by the number of implants your case calls for, typically four to six. More implants can spread the force of a heavy bite, add support for a longer arch, and add a margin of safety if one implant ever needs attention.

Who it helps

  • You grind or clench, or have a very strong bite
  • Your scan shows bone that supports more than four implants
  • You want a zirconia arch with the strongest possible support
  • You are replacing an older full-arch restoration

What to expect

Your CBCT scan and digital records tell us how many implants your arch can take and where they belong. We walk you through the options and the trade-offs, including cost, before anything is scheduled.

Questions

Common questions.

How do you decide between four, five or six implants?

From your CBCT scan, your bite and the prosthesis we are planning. Bone volume and quality, how hard you bite, and whether the opposing arch is natural teeth or another prosthesis all factor in. We explain the reasoning so you can see why the number was chosen.
